    I have several of these carriers on long guns because they are easy to put on, they stay in place, and they are well made but not over-the-top expensive.

    This is a great shell carrier for the price. Much better than the cheap elastic ones that stretch over the buttstock. The velcro attachment gives it a little bit of adjustability and the small strap in the back keeps it from slipping forward. This design also lets you still get a good cheek weld without any straps getting in the way. Shells are held nice and secure as well. I did have to cut a small hole for my sling stud to fit through, but that was easy enough.

    Fits my butt stock real good. This replaced an old Uncle Mikes elastic shell holder. I like this ESS hook & loop design better. And the anti-slip rear strap is great. It could prevent the dreaded butt stock accessory slip-up wardrobe malfunction we all fear.
