The sling extension loop and release buckle work well. Sling does require QD or some other loops installed on the rifle to be mounted on. The length is perfect - plenty of adjustment length for any load-out or rifle length. My only con/gripe about the sling would be its width - I'd say make it a bit wider, and it would be 5 starts! The fabric of the sling is very soft and not too thick - which makes it perfect for storage or wrapping around a rifle, if needed. Price/quality combination is great, especially if you can get it on sale.
